Breiðholt

Breiðholt is a suburb in eastern Reykjavík, Iceland. It is one of the largest suburbs in Reykjavík, with a population of around 21,000.

In Breiðholt are 5 compulsory schools: Breiðholtsskóli, Seljaskóli, Hólabrekkuskóli, Fellaskóli and Ölduselsskóli, and has three active athletic clubs: Leiknir Reykjavík, Íþróttafélag Reykjavíkur, Knattspyrnufélag Breiðholts and Sundfélagið Ægir.Only one High school is in Breiðholt: Fjölbrautaskólinn Breiðholti located in the middle of Berg.

The main parts of Breiðholt are; Neðra-Breiðholt: Bakkar, Mjódd and Stekkir, Efra-Breiðholt: Hólar, Berg and Fell, Seljahverfi: Sel
