Bart achieved doses of both great success and failure during the 1990's. After critically acclaimed runs on
Legends of the Dark Knight ,X-O Manowar ,Turok andViolator (the last of which was the #1 selling comic of 1994), Bart set up his own company, Ominous Press. Ominous Press (affectionately 'OP' for short) is considered by most fans to be the height of Bart's career. Although only three actual comics were produced - 'It Begins,' 'Mael's Rage' and 'Infinity,' as well as a few other pieces of merchandise, this period will always remain fondly in the minds of fans. After Ominous Press went under, Bart returned toX-O Manowar for the Birthquake re-launch. Then moving on toPenthouse Comix and eventuallyMarvel Comics . Bart worked primarilyBlade the Vampire Hunter andSpider-Woman at Marvel.Recent Years
