Soudena nearKalavryta one year before he had a brother Anagnostis and was descended from the historicPetmeza des family. He left after his father was assassinated in 1804 toZakynthos and became aRussia n army as an officer. He entered to theFiliki Etaireia and took part of the Tripoli, Levidi, Nafplio, Patras, etc. He took part in the national council of Astros. In the civil war, he teamed up withTheodoros Kolokotronis .He died in 1824
