Kovil (film) is a Tamil language film released in 2003. It starred Silambarasan and Sonia Agarwal in the lead roles.

Plot

This film is basically about disputes in a village because of its people and their religion. Shaktivel is a Hindu and Angel is a Christian. When they fall in love problems follow due to the fact that there is a difference in religion. What folllows is an interesting twist about Angels past which changes the story.
