He made his debut for the Peruvian national team on March 26, 2008 in a friendly match against Costa Rica that ended with a score of 3-1 in favor of Peru. His last appearance for Peru was on June 15, 2008 in a World Cup Qualifier match against Colombia, which ended in a 1-1 draw.^[1]
