Kurza

Kurza is a small village situated on the bank of Wainganga River in Bhandara district, Maharashtra state, India. It is 5 km from Pauni. Educational facilities up to fourth standard ia available in ZP School and from fifth standard to tenth standard in Janata Highschool. One Primary Health Center is also available. Monday is a weekly Market Day. Temples of Hanuman, Baba Farid and Sati Benabai are very ancient one. Every fourth Year the villagers are celebrating "Sati Benabai Jatra". The village is also known as "Benabai's Kurza".Janata highschool kurza, is a famous and only school here providing education to childrens in nearby villages from standard 5th to 10th, it is provided with well experienced teacher staff and renowed reputation in the field of education.

Currently Shri Chintaman Shalikram Yawalkar is the honourable personality holding the post for HeadMaster and keeping an immense control over the matters to retain the reputation of his premises. He is popular in local region as a social. Educational and may be a political serviceman in near future. He has been awarded recently by "RASHTRIYA EKATMATA FELLOWSHIP" award by the recognised authority,"INFOTECH FEATURES MUMBAI".

Pauni is a main market place for selling and buying goods, which is famous for temples and is a tourist place.
