2008 Castel Beer Trophy

2008 Castel Beer Trophy

The 2008 CAR Castel Beer Trophy, also known as the 2008 Africa Junior Trophy, is the fifth edition of second level rugby union tournament in Africa. The competition involves thirteen teams that are divided into two zones (North and South). Each zone is then divided into two groups. In the north there will be two groups of three teams, whereas in the south there will be two divisional groups. The higher level group will have four teams, and the lower level will contain three. In the 2008 edition Botswana, Swaziland and Nigeria will not participate, due to involvement in the World Cup qualifiers.
