Paul Montgomery

Paul Montgomery was the Vice President of NewTek and later co-President of Play, Inc.

Montgomery was known for his promotional skills, which helped a small company from Topeka, Kansas get major national press attention for its products, including feature stories on the NBC Nightly News and an article in Rolling Stone Magazine.

He died in June 1999.

NewTek is best known for its breakthrough product, the Video Toaster, released in 1990. It went on to be used in the production of several well-known television and movie projects, and was considered so innovative that it earned Primetime Emmy Awards for the Video Toaster team in 1993.
