Earth-Moon barycenter

The Earth-Moon barycenter (EMB), is the barycenter, or center of mass, of the Earth-Moon system of celestial bodies. The location of the EMB is on the line connecting the centres of the Earth and Moon, approximately 1710 km below the surface of the Earth.
