CKQR-FM

CKQR-FM is a Canadian radio station that broadcasts an active rock format at 99.3 FM in Castlegar, British Columbia. The station is branded as Mountain FM and is owned by Vista Broadcast Group.

The station originally began broadcasting at 1230 AM in the 1960s and 70s, then moved to 760 AM in 1984 until it moved to its current frequency in 1998.

CKQR also has rebroadcasters in Trail, Greenwood, Christina Lake, Mount Baldy and Rock Creek.

On August 19, 2008, Vista proposes to change the authorized contours of its transmitter CFNV-FM in Nelson by increasing the average effective radiated power from 84 watts to 1,100 watts (maximum effective radiated power of 2,400 watts), by increasing the effective antenna height to 376 metres and by relocating the transmitter.
