"Mama" is a popular song.

The English language lyrics were written by John Turner and Geoffrey Claremont Parsons.

The song was recorded by Connie Francis, and was a number 8 chart hit in 1960.

Prior to Francis' recording, British singer David Whitfield reached number 12 in the UK Singles Chart with his recording in 1955. In 1941 music for the song was written by Cesare Andrea Bixio with the Italian Lyric by Bruno Cherubini. In 1946 the English lyric was written by Harold Barlow and Phil Brito who also had a popular recording hit the charts in May 1946.
