Camden Road (Midland) railway station was a station in Camden, North London, which the Midland Railway opened in 1868 to serve the new residential area of St John's Wood. It was immediately south of the 205 yard Camden Tunnels on the Midland Main Line.
The station was closed, as were others, in 1916 as a wartime economy measure, and was not re-opened.
North London Line station
In 1870 the North London Railway opened its Camden Town station which was renamed Camden Road in 1950.
The Midland station was virtually under the viaduct of the North London Line. A steeply inclined track connected the two lines.
