Angela "Angie" Lopez (played by Constance Marie) is one of the main characters in the television series, "George Lopez".

Background

Angela "Angie" Lopez (née Palmero) (b. March 5, 1968), is George's wife, Carmen and Max's mother, Vic's daughter, Veronica's aunt and Benny's daughter-in-law. She is a wedding planner who works from home. She also used to sell makeup. She is friendly, and tries hard to foster good relations with neighbors and family, to do the right thing and to chastise those with whom she disagrees. She often hits George when he says something he shouldn't and says he loses every fight between them. She has a sister, Gloria, and a brother, Ray, whom she does not trust nor like. She often gets mad at least once an episode because of things George does. She is a polite, confident and sexy middle-aged mom with a sensual side and is very dedicated to her husband. Angie's father set up $20,000 account for her in the case that she ever needed to leave her husband. She once withdrew the money early in the marriage but re-deposited it the next day and eventually told George about the account. She also had sex before she married George. She is naive about worldly matters.
