SBS Transit Service 285

SBS Transit Service 285

SBS Transit Service 285 is a feeder loop service in Singapore. It starts from Clementi Bus Interchange, through West Coast, and loops at Pandan Loop. Service 285 is the only feeder service in Singapore to have Volvo Olympian and Leyland Olympian buses.

History

*1981: Service 285 was introduced. Originally, the route starts from Clementi, through Avenue 4, 5 & 2, down to Clementi West Street 2, then to Pandan Loop which loops and return to its starting bus terminal.
*1985: Avenue 4, 5, 2 and Clementi West Street 2 route was cut off. The new feeder Service 282 took that route.
*2004: Originally, the road goes to Jalan Buroh, and turns into Pandan Loop. However, the construction of Jalan Buroh Circus and Upgrading of Pandan Bridge eventually blocked this road. Service 285 eventually turns to West Coast Highway, before turning in to Pandan Loop.
