Stockton Hill is located a
butte -like rocky hill atop theBonaparte Plateau at the head of theDeadman River and 7 km} south ofBonaparte Lake and Unit km|30|0 west of Barriere and northeast of Silwhoaikun. There are other summits higher than Unit m|1500|0 in the hills in the immediate area, but Stockton Hill is the highest, and the most distinct and steep-sided.
