Mack Blake, brother of Gina Blake DeMott, came in town in 1989 as a huge surprise, since Gina never mentioned she had a brother. Mack immediately became the seducer of women, but also a tender person. Already when he arrived, he got accused of stealing a Porshe from his former lover Yvonne Bartelo, but it was later proven that he had not stolen it. Of course, Gina immediately saw Mack as a bad person and she believed that Mack was a very bad influence on Brandon. Mack's next lover was Gretchen Richards, the wife of Harland Richards. They started an affair and Gretchen plotted to make it seem like her husband was trying to abuse her. She suggested that Mack get rid of Harland, but he definitely opposed the idea. Gretchen continued plotting and ended up accusing Mack of murder attempt. Once everything was resolved, Mack left town.
