Roger Dean Stadium is the only stadium in the country to host four minor league teams: theJupiter Hammerheads andPalm Beach Cardinals of the Class-A BaseballFlorida State League , and theGulf Coast Marlins andGulf Coast Cardinals of the Rookie-levelGulf Coast League . The
Montreal Expos used to share the stadium with the Cardinals, until they swapped with the Marlins in2002 as part of the Marlins sale toJeffrey Loria . The Expos would move intoSpace Coast Stadium which now houses theWashington Nationals . The stadium features luxury sky-box seating, permanent seating, parking and concessions. The Stadium was badly damaged in 2004 during hurricanes Frances and Jeanne.Cliff Politte threw the first pitch in the stadium's history in spring training, 1998.References
