Hank Stickney is the CEO of
Mandalay Baseball , co-owner ofDillstar Productions , Operating Partner ofMandalay Sports Entertainment , and owner ofValley Baseball .Mandalay Baseball manages multiple minor league baseball teams in theU.S. , most notably theDayton Dragons . Hank also is the majority owner of theRancho Cucamonga Quakes baseball team, which is outside the portfolio ofMandalay Sports Entertainment .Dillstar Productions produces dinner shows likeJoey and Marias Italian Wedding andSopranos Last Supper . Stickney retired from theAir Force with the rank of Colonel. After retiring he was Assistant Hospital Administrator for the county ofSan Bernadino . He then moved on to foundWestern Medical Specialties which was a leader in home health care,Caremark Inc. later purchased the company. He then foundedReimbursement Dynamics Inc. which also was a success.Reimbursement Dynamics specialized in reimbursement strategies for newly approved drugs and medical devices entering the marketplace. He was always a huge sports buff and ended up investing inbaseball . In 2006Fortune Magazine did an article on Hank which featured ways to invest in minor league sports and how profitable they can be. His entrepreneurship also earned him theErnst and Young 2001 entrepreneur of the year award,Baseball America Outstanding Class 'A' Franchise of 1997, and theThiel College ,Haller Enterprise Institute Entrepreneur of the year in 2001.
