Mizz Beats (real name Iman Yanée Tonge-Grant) is a female Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop producer and DJ from London. She has collaborated with other famous artists such as Lady Sovereign, Dizzee Rascal and Roots Manuva. She also forms one third of production trio '8Beat' along with her cousin and long time friend. Mizz Beats grew up in a musical environment, as her dad was a bass player and her grandfather Titus Tonge was a guitarist and vocalist of 70's psychedelic rock band African People.

Mizz Beats has admitted to being heavily influenced by producers such as Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Salaam Remi, Timbaland, Kanye West, and The Neptunes. She has also admitted to being inspired by video games and chiptune music.
