Charles Walcott (also spelled Charles Walcot) (1733–1799) was a British politician.
He served as Member of Parliament for Weymouth from 1763 to 1769 and also served as High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1782.[1] A graduate of the University of Oxford, he lived at Bitterley Court, Bitterley, Shropshire.[2] Charles Walcott was the son of Charles Walcot (or Walcott) of Walcot and Elizabeth Brydges, sister of James Brydges, 1st Duke of Chandos. In 1764, Charles Walcott married his cousin Anne Levett, daughter of Reverend Richard Levett, rector of Blithfield, Staffordshire, and his wife Catherine Walcott.[3][4] On 10 February 1770, Walcott and Rev. Richard Levett of West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, were appointed executors of the will of Rev. Humphrey Walcott of Bitterley Court.
