ATP Volvo International

The ATP Volvo International (known as "Volvo International" from 1973 to 1996 and as "Pilot Pen International" from 1997 to 1998 for sponsorship reasons) is a defunct professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts, and first created in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, United States, in 1973. In 2005, the ATP event of Long Island known as the "TD Waterhouse Cup" was moved to New Haven, where it merged with the women's event "Pilot Pen Tennis" into a large joint tournament. The current "Pilot Pen" men's event is considered the continuation of the Long Island event, rather than that of the "Volvo International"-turned-"Pilot Pen International".
