Mokarram Hussain Khundker

Mokarram Hussain Khundker (Bengali: মুকাররম হুসেইন খন্দকার) was a famous Professor of Chemistry of University of Dhaka. The University holds a Memorial Lecture every year named as Khundker Memorial Lecture, to perpetuate the memory of the late Professor.[1] The university also hosts a research chair in memory of this renowned faculty member.[2] The Government of Bangladesh bestowed Professor Khundker with the Independence Day Award, the highest civilian award in the country, in 1977 (Posthumously).
