Hanshin Electric Railway Main Line and ends atNishikujo Station . The line will be extended to Osaka Namba Station (to be renamed fromKintetsu Namba Station ) to join theKintetsu Nara Line .On August 1, 2008, Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. announced that the extending line will be opened on March 20, 2009 and the Nishi-Osaka Line will be renamed "nihongo|the Hanshin Namba Line|阪神なんば線|Hanshin Nanba sen|" on the same day.
