Marvel Universe .Jemiah is one of the Celestials, and gathers all of the specimens given to him by Gammenon and places them into a massive analyzing machine. Jemiah is the Celestials' scientist, genetic engineer, and theoretician.
Fictional character biography
Jemiah appeared on Earth along with the rest of the Fourth Celestial Host. ["Eternals" Vol. 1 #7] Jemiah stood assembled with nine of the other members of the Fourth Host in Peru, and participated in the repulsion of the attack by Odin animating the Destroyer, the
Uni-Mind , and Thor. He then left Earth with the other Celestials. ["Thor" #300]Later, Jemiah witnessed the near-destruction of the universe by a black hole created by Maelstrom. ["Quasar" #25]
Other versions
An alternate reality version of Jemiah fought alongside Gammenon to battle
Ego the Living Planet . As Ego was about to kill the two, they were saved at the last moment by Blink of the Exiles. Jemiah takes pity on her and as a reward for saving them, he and Gammenon personally escort Blink back to Earth safely while at the same time giving her a warning about the "Timebreaker ."Powers and abilities
Like other Celestials, Jemiah is a total enigma, the level of whose physical powers is unknown, probably immeasurable.
Jemiah has an extraordinarily advanced knowledge of genetics and mathematics.
