Eson the Searcher is a fictional character in the Marvel Universe.

Fictional character biography

Eson is the seeker and quester among the cosmic entities the Celestials. Eson arrives on Earth with the rest of the Fourth Celestial Host.

As part of his time on Earth, Eson observes Miami, Florida and undersea Deviant Lemuria. Eson and the Celestials are attacked by the Deviants, and Eson absorbs all the energy from Lemuria. ["Eternals" Vol. 1 #9] He then destroys the legendary isle of Lemuria in retaliation for the Lemurians' attack, this while probing it with his hand. The Lemurians either flee or drown. ["Eternals" Vol. 1 #10]

With the nine other members of the Fourth Host in Peru, Eson participates in the repulsion of the attack by the Destroyer, the Uni-Mind, and Thor. The Celestials then judge Earth worthy, and leave Earth. ["Thor" #300]

It was also revealed that Eson was among the First Celestial Host that visited Earth. ["What If" Vol. 1 #23]

Powers and abilities

Like other Celestials, Eson is a total enigma, the level of whose physical powers is unknown, probably immeasurable.

Eson has a "universal eye" in the palm of his left hand through which he can see.
