2006 Major League Baseball Japan All-Star Series

The 2006 Major League Baseball Japan All-Star Series was the tenth edition of the series between Major League Baseball and Nippon Professional Baseball. MLB was completed the first ever sweep in series history by winning the series 5 games to 0. In an exhibition game prior to the series MLB and the Yomiuri Giants played to a 7-7 tie. Ryan Howard of the Philadelphia Phillies collected the Series MVP Award.
