ASK Olympiakos Volos was formed in 2004 when two local clubs, Ethnikos Olympiakos Volos F.C. and AS Kasandra, merged. The first name of the team was Kassandra Olympiakos AS.
In 24.06.2008 Ethikos Olympiakos Volou merged with A.S.K.Olympiakos and they formed a common team named Olympiakos Volou
