Johnny Cupcakes

Johnny Cupcakes is an indie clothing brand first created in 2001 as sort of a joke. It was founded by Johnny Earle, who was then touring with the metalcore band On Broken Wings. This clothing line, which started out as a t-shirt line sold out of the back of Earle's car, uses cupcakes as the prominent feature on the merchandise, often replacing iconic symbols with cupcakes. The line's insignia is a skull and crossbones, with a cupcake instead of a skull. The Johnny Cupcakes line includes shirts, shorts, sweaters, jewelry, undergarments,belts and pins. Earle hopes to expand Johnny Cupcakes by adding a shoe line and watches.Fact|date=May 2008 The primary store is located on Newbury Street in Boston, Massachusetts, and is decorated in a bakery theme. There is also a store in Hull, Massachusetts (Earle's hometown), as well as a store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, California.
