"Ávvir" is a Northern Sámi language newspaper that is the result of the merger between two Northern Sámi newspapers: "
Min Áigi " og "Áššu ". Although Ávvir is currently published three times a week, plans have been made to publish it 4–5 times a week in the future, i.e., from Tuesday to Saturday.
