"Assassin in the Limelight" is a Big Finish Productions audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series "Doctor Who".

Plot

Ford's Theatre, Washington. Friday, 14th April, 1865. The assassination of Abraham Lincoln. The place, the date and the event which made history. Or did it? Someone has been tampering with time, muddying the waters of history for his own purposes. Time itself is out of joint and the chief culprit is the enigmatic Doctor Knox. Somehow the Doctor and Evelyn must put history back on track before the future dissolves into chaos. But Knox, it turns out, may be the least of their worries...

*This play sees Leslie Phillips reprising his role as Doctor Robert Knox from "Medicinal Purposes".
*Eric Loren previously played Mr Diagoras and the Dalek Sec Hybrid in the Tenth Doctor story "Daleks in Manhattan"/"Evolution of the Daleks".
*The sound design and music for this story is by Martin Johnson. Martin composed the music for the stage adaptations of Evil of the Daleks (2006) and The Dalek Masterplan (2007), the latter of which involved Nicholas Briggs.
