- Techa River
The Techa River is a tributary of the
Iset River . The river is about 240 km long. The river Techa belongs to the Iset-Tobol-Irtysh-Ob system, which runs out into theKara Sea [ [http://www.rdc.gov.lv/nucpedia/uk/river.htm River Techa ] ] . For over six years, theMayak complex systematically dumpedradioactive waste into the Techa River.
