Len Carlson (
September 2 ,1937 –January 26 ,2006 ) was a Canadian and Americanvoice actor on manyanimated television series from the 1960s onward, and was also a Kraft Canada TV pitchman during the 1970s and 1980s. He was the voice of Bert Raccoon in "The Raccoons ", Professor Coldheart in the early "Care Bears " specials and episodes, and "Rocket Robin Hood ". He was also the voice of Allo and Quackpot on the TV series, "Dinosaucers ".In the 1980s, the 1990s, and the 2000s, Carlson has appeared on other TV shows to his credit appearing on "
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors ", "The Legend of Zelda", "George Shrinks ", the animated version of "Police Academy", "C.O.P.S." "The Neverending Story", "Birdz ", "Flying Rhino Junior High ", the two animated versions of "ALF", "Swamp Thing", ', ', "X-Men" and "WildC.A.T.S."In his last years, Carlson was a regular on
Nelvana -produced shows such as "Rolie Polie Olie ", "Cyberchase ", "Pecola ", "Donkey Kong Country", "Medabots ", and "Beyblade " as the main antagonist Gideon (Season 2). Most recently, he appeared in the French-Canadian co-production "Atomic Betty ". He also voiced the characters Hugo and Q in thevideo game "Street Fighter III 3rd Strike".Death
Len had not been feeling well the day before and was admitted to a hospital where he died after suffering a heart attack on
January 26 ,2006 . At the end of the credits on "Cyberchase " episode 504 and the Season 2 finale of "Atomic Betty ", they incorporated "In Memory of Len Carlson".External links
