Gabonese Democratic Party (1945)

Gabonese Democratic Party ("Parti démocratique gabonais", PDG) was a political party formed in the then-French colony of Gabon in 1945. It merged with the Gabonese Joint Committee (CMG) of Léon M'ba in August 1953 to form the Gabonese Democratic Bloc (BDG). In 1968, a new party replaced the BDG that was also called Gabonese Democratic Party.
