The Aerocomp Merlin is a Canadian designed and built two-seat ultralight, configured as a small, high-wing monoplane with taildragger undercarriage.

The Merlin was designed in 1986 by John Burch, who intended to use it in his flight training school. The aircraft wing was inspired by the Lazair's wing and uses the same aluminum "D" cell and foam rib construction techniques. The first example flew the following year.

Kits for homebuilding were sold by Merlin Aircraft, who marketed it as the Merlin GT. When the company ceased business, rights to the design were acquired by Blue Yonder Aviation of Indus, Alberta who produce kits for Canada sales and for Aerocomp to market in the USA.
