Solar System SciencesHe gave observational evidence for that small impacts evolve the shape of asteroids toward a spherical form. The time scale of this evolution is ~1-2 billion years. Within a group (with
SDSS collaboration) estimated the number ofTrojan asteroids which has been resulted to be as much as allasteroids in theMain Belt . He examined the presence of large colored spots on the surface of asteroids; he had observed comets that were active at large (>3 AU) heliocentric distance and published photometry asteroids.Stellar Astrophysics
From 1997, he participated in
variable star andstellar pulsation studies, and has been a member of the the Szeged Bright Supernova Observing Group [http://titan.physx.u-szeged.hu/~sn/] .Others
