Professor Ronald MacDonald is an economist at the University of Glasgow in Scotland (Adam Smith Professor of Political Economy) with a research specialism in exchange rate analysis using advanced econometric techniques.
Until 2004 he held the same post at the University of Strathclyde (professor of international finance - formerly professor of international macroeconomics).
