2008 Ford 400

2008 Ford 400

The 2008 Ford 400, a convert|400.5|mi|km race, is the concluding event of the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup season along with the 2008 Chase for the Sprint Cup, and decides which of the 12 drivers that are eligible for said chase will be the Champion for the 2008 season. The 267-lap race on the convert|1.5|mi|km track will be held on November 16 at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida. ABC will carry the race beginning at 3 PM US EST and MRN along with Sirius Satellite Radio will have radio coverage starting at that same time.

The race also serves as the final event of Ford Championship Weekend, which also includes the Craftsman Truck Series Ford 200 and Nationwide Series Ford 300 races on Friday and Saturday of that weekend, also serving as the season finales for those series as well.
