Celeste Dodwell

Celeste Dodwell (born 1992) is an Australian actress perhaps best known for her role as Melody Jones on popular Australian soap opera Home and Away since 2008

The daughter of actor Grant Dodwell, she just earned a full time role as "Melody Jones" on Home and Away. She found out she had scored a role as a Summer Bay High student in Home and Away just three days after her final exam at Mosman High School. Dunn, Emily and Elicia Murray. It was intended to be a classic Early Years style storyline - a teen with a troubled home life. In a year where Bevan wanted to pay tribute to the show's history, the Melody storyline was created to do just that. And that's all she was ever invented for. Melody Jones was intended as nothing more than a short lived guest character in a short lived storyline.

Melody's guest stint will be over in about a month, after which she will be off our screens for some time before returning under permanent character status later in the year. Celeste Dodwell is now back on Home and Away and has a two year contract with the show.

Celeste has also had a small role as a friend of the character Sasha on the Australian children's program Double Trouble (2008)
