"'Melody Jones, is a fictional character in the Australian soap opera Home and Away.

We first saw Melody with Annie Campbell. Annie was trying to get her to date Geoff Campbell, her brother. Eventually they dated but Christine tried destroying the relationship by putting a AVO on Geoff. Eventually they broke up.

Melody was at Nicole's house party when Axel Hay tried to force himself onto Melody. Melody has been traumatised ever since. The character disappeared off the screen for a little while. She then came back in early September under a permanent character status. (This has been confirmed by channel seven that Melody is a regular.) We saw Melody in a clinic where she was mentally unstable, and Christine wasn't allowed to visit, only her father Edward. Edward left Christine and Christine discharged Meldoy from the clinic taking her back home.

Melody developed an eating disorder and stopped eating. Geoff noticed when he went into her wardrobe and found a carrier bag of uneaten food. Melody tried telling Christine. Christine decided to fix her daughter and tried performing an excism on her, but was stopped by Geoff and Miles Copeland. Miles invited Melody to move into the Summer Bay House with him, Alf, Jai Fernandez, Kirsty Phillips and Ollie. Christine later kidnapped Melody and mowed down Geoff. Geoff survived and Melody gave up on her mother and Miles has decided to adopt her.
