Nigawa

Nigawa (仁川 Nigawa?) is a district along Nigawa River which flows on the border of Takarazuka and Nishinomiya, Hyogo, Japan.

Outline

Nigawa is one of the districts developed in the early stage of the development of area along Hankyu Imazu Line in the 1930s. This beautiful district had also been well known as a district where rich people, including presidents of major companies, sport managers and players, artists, or university professors in Osaka Metropolitan Area live. However, at the Great Hanshin earthquake in 1995, this district was heavily damaged, aging of the people has started to change the atmosphere.
