"Breakin' Up" is the first single from Irish Pop/R&B Singer Sean Dempsey. The single charted at number 2 in Irish Downloads, number 34 on the iTunes Top 100, number 11 on the iTunes Pop 100 and number 99 on the Irish Chart.
In an interview with the Evening Herald Sean explained how the meaning of the song is to represent the opposite to the sad side of breaking up. "Whether it be love, friendship or a daily routine, all break ups have a good side.." explained Sean in the March Edition of the Evening Herald newspaper.

Download Version

The download version of the song was released on June 1st at first to "test the waters" with the single. Since the first release, the song has changed. The song that is available now has a longer intro than the one that was once the original. When a good response was made back to the single, all systems were go and the single was promoted to what it has become today. This sparse release did effect charting positions as sales where scattered throughout the month before the official release date was set for CD and Official Download Version.
