The Vehicle Path GPS Fleet Tracking System is an aftermarket vehicle tracking system used by companies to track their fleet vehicles. Corporations buy the system to track location and speed for vehicles, and to set automatically-tracked boundaries and notifications.

Vehicle Path's system uses a web interface based on Google Maps.

How it works

The product uses a cellular modem and GPS locator installed on each vehicle. The modem transfers data to a central server. Each record transferred includes the date, time, location (address, city, state and ZIP code), speed and direction of travel.

Customers can log into a web-based interface to view their fleet vehicles.

Drawbacks

System installation is fairly involved. It requires a skilled installer.
