vehicle tracking system used by companies to track their fleet vehicles. Corporations buy the system to track location and speed for vehicles, and to set automatically-tracked boundaries and notifications.Vehicle Path's system uses a web interface based on Google Maps.
How it works
The product uses a cellular modem and GPS locator installed on each vehicle. The modem transfers data to a central server. Each record transferred includes the date, time, location (address, city, state and ZIP code), speed and direction of travel.
Customers can log into a web-based interface to view their fleet vehicles.
Drawbacks
System installation is fairly involved. It requires a skilled installer.
