The Reuben Freeman House is a unique home, sporting eight gables, that was built 1887 in Inver Grove Heights in the U.S. state of Minnesota. Freeman was a German immigrant farmer who collected stones from his acreage to build his coursed fieldstone house. Bottle glass adorns the masonry around the second-story windows, further proving his eccentricity.cite book|title=The National Register of Historic Places in Minnesota|last=Nord|first=Mary Ann|publisher=Minnesota Historical Society|date=2003|isbn=0-87351-448-3] [cite web| title = Historic Sites:Inver Grove Heights| publisher = Dakota County Historical Society| url = http://www.dakotahistory.org/county/igh.asp| accessdate =2008-02-27]
