Paul Williams is a New Zealand Rugby Union player who plays provincial rugby for Canterbury, and is in the Super 14 team the Highlanders. He is a son of All Black Bryan Williams, he also has a brother Gavin Williams, who plays internationally for Samoa and he plays for French club US Dax.

Rugby career

After breaking his leg in 2003 (while playing for the highlanders against the blues) Williams has got his rugby career back on track. First playing for canterbury in 2006, then playing for the crusaders. 2008 saw Williams re-join the highlanders franchise, being one of the first choose players after a major re-build in the team. In May 2008, with a strong performance for the Highlanders franchise. Paul Williams gain selection for the initial training squad for the end of the year tour of 2008 in Europe.
