The Solar Eclipse that will take place on April 8, 2024, will be a total eclipse of the Sun with a magnitude of 1.0566 that will be visible in a huge area of North America, beginning at south central Pacific Ocean, northern Mexico, central and eastern United States, southeastern Canada and ending at northern Atlantic Ocean. This eclipse will be the first total solar eclipse visible in Mexico since the Solar eclipse of July 11, 1991.

The longest duration of totality will be 4 minutes 28 seconds near the small town of Nazas, Durango, Mexico, near the city of Torreón, Coahuila.
