Étienne Guibourg

Étienne Guibourg

The Abbé Étienne Guibourg (c. 1610 – 1680) was a French Roman Catholic abbé who performed Black Masses for Catherine Monvoisin in the late 1600s. He was the sacristan of Saint-Marcel at Saint-Denis, and formerly the chaplain to the Compte de Montgommery. He claimed to be the illegitimate son of Henri de Montmorency. He was about 70 years old when he was arrested in connection with the poison affair. He died after 3 years in prison.
