Medal record Competitor for the Soviet Union Men's weightlifting Olympic Games Gold 1988 Seoul -56 kg Oksen Mirzoyan (Armenian: Օքսեն Միրզոյանն, Russian: Оксен Аракелович Мирзоян) (born June 11, 1961 in Angeghakot) is a former Armenian weightlifter and Olympic champion who competed for the Soviet Union.
He was born in village Angeghakot, Sisian Oblast, Armenian SSR.
Mirzoyan won a gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul.[1]
