Eric Joel Kresser (born February 6, 1973 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida) is an American football player who is currently a quarterback for Team Florida of the All American Football League, and a formerly of the Cincinnati Bengals of National Football League.

High school years

Kresser attended Palm Beach Gardens High School where he lettered in football, basketball and baseball. In football, he was an All-State Class 5A selection.

College career

Kresser spent four years at the University of Florida, then he transferred to Marshall for his senior year and lead the Herd to the NCAA Division I-AA National Championship. Kresser holds the Gators' record for passing yards in a game by a junior. Pro career

NFL (1997-1999)

Kresser went undrafted in the 1997 NFL Draft but signed a rookie contract with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he spent his entire three year NFL career.

NFL Europe (2000)

In 2000, the Bengals sent Kresser to play for the Berlin Thunder. He started the first four games before injuring his right shoulder.

Canadian Football League (2002)

After sitting out the 2001 season, Kresser played as a back-up for the Grey Cup champion Montreal Alouettes in the 2002 CFL season. All American Football League (2008-present)

On January 26, 2008 Kresser was selected 4th overall in the AAFL's inaugural draft by Team Florida.
