Paul A. Keddy (born May 29, 1953 in
London, Ontario ) is a Canadianecologist . He has studied plantpopulation ecology andcommunity ecology inwetland s and many other habitats in easternCanada andLouisiana ,U.S.A. , where he now is a professor at theSoutheastern Louisiana University .He began his formal training in
biology in 1969 atYork University inToronto and finished hisPhD atDalhousie University with Evelyn C. Pielou. He has been professor ofbiology at theUniversity of Guelph (1978-1982),University of Ottawa (1982-1999) and has held the "Edward G.
