Steve Kean is a Scottish football coach and former player currently the assistant manager at Coventry City. He joined Coventry alongside boss Chris Coleman in February 2008 following the sacking of former manager Iain Dowie by chairman Ray Ranson. Kean also worked alongside Coleman during his time managing Fulham and Spanish side Real Sociedad.

Kean spent his playing career at Celtic and Academica Coimbra. In June 2008, it was reported that Kean was in talks with Chelsea to become assistant coach to Luiz Felipe Scolari.
